Some companies such as Leafly and Weedmaps specialize in marijuana delivery. You can make an account on either of these apps, type in your address, and dispensaries and products will popup near you!
You can choose from a wide array of products, and anything you can get in stores, you can get delivered.
You can also buy straight from a local dispensary, and they will deliver your medicine. This option will probably be cheaper than a third party app, but it will likely take a bit longer as far as delivery goes.
Is Weed Delivery Right for Me?
If you are a newer patient, weed delivery may not work for you just yet. If you aren’t sure exactly what you’re looking for, it might be helpful to go in-person to a dispensary so that staff can help to educate you and make recommendations based on your symptoms.
However, if you know basically what you want, such as dosage level, strains, ingestion type, etc., there is no reason why you should be making the extra trip to the dispensary, especially if it is out of the way!
Also, shopping online can be therapeutic, and allows you to better filter through products you may be interested in. The dispensary can be a bit overwhelming, so if you know you are looking for an edible for example, just click the edible filter option on your dispensary’s website!
Most dispensary websites also offer many other filters to make the online shopping experience easier, such as strain type, dosage level, brand, and more.
Many dispensaries have their own delivery programs, such as the RISE dispensaries in Abingdon and Salem.
